Who we are

resyu.me is operated by Ilyos Ergashev, Tashkent, Uzbekistan ("we", "us"). For any question about your data, or to use your rights, email support@resyu.me.

What we collect

• Your resume content: everything you type into the builder, such as your name, contact details, work history, education, skills and links. You decide what to include.
• Your email address: when you choose to save your resume or sign in, so we can send you a one-time code and your PDF.
• Technical data: sign-in records (such as time and IP address) kept by our authentication provider, and standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to save your draft.

How we use it

• To let you create, edit, preview and download your resume.
• To verify your email address with a one-time code and to email you your resume as a PDF.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your resume for advertising. We process your data because you ask us to provide the service, and to keep it secure.

Who processes your data for us

We use a small number of service providers. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase: database and sign-in. Your resume and account are stored in the European Union (Ireland).
• Vercel: website hosting. Our application servers run in Dublin, Ireland; pages may be delivered through Vercel's global network.
• Resend: email delivery (your sign-in codes and PDFs). Emails are sent through Amazon Web Services infrastructure in Japan.
• Cloudflare: domain name (DNS) services for resyu.me.

This means your data may be processed outside your country, including in the European Union and Japan.

How long we keep it

• Unsaved drafts (when you haven't confirmed your email) are deleted automatically about 24 hours after your last change.
• Saved resumes and accounts are kept until you delete them.
• Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and can be used only once.
• Logs and backups held by our providers are kept for a limited time under their own policies, then deleted or overwritten.

Your rights and choices

• See and correct your data at any time in the resume builder.
• Download your resume as a PDF from My resume.
• Delete your resume and account yourself from My resume ("Delete my resume and account"). Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by emailing support@resyu.me.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to certain processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Connections to resyu.me are encrypted (HTTPS). Only you can see your resume: access is checked on our servers for every request, and nothing is shared publicly. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

Age

resyu.me is intended for people aged 16 and over.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we will also tell users who have saved a resume by email.
